Shingleback Davey Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Shingleback have always been known for producing quality McLaren Vale wines at some fantastic prices. Take Red Knot for example! Here they re-launched their estate wines under the 'Davey Estate' label and concentrate on single sites. This Cabernet is wonderfully youthful and full of vibrancy. Fresh black fruit with roasted spice and superbly balanced tannins.

Battle of Bosworth Cabernet Sauvignon

Battle of Bosworth Cabernet Sauvignon is a standout wine of flavoursome red fruits and currants; firmly structured, very rich and grippy. Deserves to be taken very seriously. Proof of such comes with the Trophy for Best Cabernet Sauvignon at the 2011 McLaren Vale Wine Show.

Yangarra Grenache Shiraz Mourverde

"What a lovely wine from a lovely vintage. It's not an ounce over medium-bodied but it articulates the place, varieties and the year with utmost clarity. Fine Tannins are stitched through the scarlet taffeta of the perfectly pitched palate. " - James Halliday

Primo Estate Zamberlan

Blackstrap McLaren Vale Shiraz

When you open a Blackstrap, you know you’re heading into seriously dark, rich, red territory. It’s from McLaren Vale, so it shows all that inky, chocolatey, deep black fruit richness the region is known for. A good dose of oak tempers the richness, and fine tannins smooth it out even further, so it’s drinking well now. But it’s definitely an ultra-velvety, mouthcoating, lipstaining, rich and powerful red that you need to approach carefully!
