Logan Weemala Merlot

Champions of cool-climate New South Wales, Logan have produced a Merlot with balanced fruit sweetness with true complexity. There is plenty of smooth, rich and voluptuous fruit on offer while fine-grained tannin and structured acid add a further dimension to this luscious wine. One could certainly argue that this is the perfect food match wine.

Jip Jip Rocks Shiraz

The Bryson Family vineyard produces superb fruit in the heart of South Australia, which is then handcrafted by winemaker Ben Riggs. Jip Jip Rocks Shiraz is an explosion of ripe dark berry fruits on the palate. Full bodied and ready to go this wine certainly delivers in spades.

Z Wine Rustica Shiraz

Z Wine's Rustica Shiraz is an intense crimson red with purple hues followed by aromas of ripe cherry and red plum which are complimented by hints of pepper and spice with lifted perfumed notes. The palate is warm and full flavoured, displaying generous sweet red fruit, such as cherry, raspberry and plum. These fruits are couple with cedar spice notes and the soft mouth-filling tannins carry the fruit as well as providing structure and length to the wine. This wine is an exemplary example of a lifted, fruit filled Barossa Shiraz suitable for drinking in its youth.

Zonin Classici Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

Zonin is originally a family of small-scale farmers that has become a touchstone for the Italian and international wine sectors. A major producer, making wines that highlight the exclusivity of their terroirs, varietal characteristics and ultimately the personality of each individual wine. Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is ample and remarkably complex. Dry on the palate and gracious, with delicate and soft veining, a fine and harmonious balance. It makes a fine accompaniment for all red meat dishes and moderately aged cheeses.

Poggio Anima 'Asmodeus' Nero d'Avola

Dark garnet. Notes of ripe plums, leather, garrigue and pepper on the nose, with ripe black cherry and a touch of candied berry on the palate. Finishes with fruit sweetness and a liquorice note with soft gripping tannins to hold it all together.

Pemo Pecorino Terre di Chieti

Pecorino is an ancient grape variety (traditionally grown by the monks) rediscovered in the '80s. It makes a fresh, dry, citrus-flavoured white wine. On the label is recreated a typical Abruzzo scene, with a vine growing up a hillside, dominated by an ancient tower.

Pemo Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

Montepulciano has long been one of Italys most important and versatile grape varieties. The grapes for PEMO Montepulciano are grown exclusively on hillside slopes in the Abruzzo region, at an altitude of at least 250 metres above the sea level. Montepulciano has a rich red colour, with a cherryish nose. A deeply characterful wine with an abundance of flavour, it's delightfully soft and velvety, with red and black berry fruits, and a smooth, gentle finish.

San Moro Primitivo

Midnight black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Morello to black cherry and dried herb aromas greet the nostrils with hints of liquorice, smoky earth, cinnamon and spice also kicking in. Rich black plum, liquorice and morello cherry flavours are layered across the mid weighted palate with some earth, dried herb and spice elements lying underneath. Fleshy feel with polished tannins carrying an underlying firmness. Juicy mid length conclusion. Drink over the next 2-3 years. Alc. 13.5%
