Chateau Tanunda was established in 1890 and is the site of some of the First vines planted in the Barossa in the 1840s as well as the Valleys first winery. Dense black as night heart with a deep dark red black hue. Wafting from the glass are potent scents of ripe blackcurrant, liquorice and cigar box trailed by some black olive, earth and spicy dried herb notes. Medium bodied the palate is filled with rich blackcurrant fruit which overlays a back drop of liquorice, cigar box, black olive and spicy dried herb characters.
