Castello di Volpaia Balifico Toscana IGT Balifico is named after for the vineyard from which the fruit is sourced. The Balifico is a Supertuscana blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignonand one of the first of this revolutionary new breed to win acclaim by international wine media.

CASTELLO DI VOLPAIA Riserva, Chianti Classico DOCG The fruit from each Castello di Volpaia vineyard is harvested and vinified separately. The Volpaia Chianti Classico Riserva is made from a blend of these wines, selected from the performing vineyards. The grapes are harvested by hand and collected in boxes holding less than 20Kgs of fruit. In the winery, they are destemmed and lightly pressed before fermentation commences use their own yeasts for two weeks. After this, the wines macerate for a further ten days on their own skins to give structure, complexity and colour to the wines prior to malolactic fermentation to make the wine more approachable. Ageing takes place in oak barrels for 24 months.

Dutschke Oscar Semmler Shiraz is a wonderfully well structured and flavoursome Shiraz. Rich Barossa Valley flavours of red fruits, currants and bold mocha/chocolate. Can be appreciated now or as a more complex wine by further cellaring.

Vanya Cullen is relentless in her pursuit of excellence and commitment to low-yielding, biodynamically managed vineyards. This wine is 54% Petit Verdot and 46% Malbec from the Mangan Vineyard. It's deep red in colour, and vibrant purple/crimson at the rim. The nose combines mulberry, violets and roses. On the palate it's rich and intense with satsuma plum flavours complemented by fine-grained tannins. Long and full flavoured, it has all the signs of developing greater complexity with age.

The Savaterre vineyard is elevated at 430m above sea level and is farmed along organic principles. No pesticides are used. An incredibly complex, lifted, lively and intense nose. Exotic aromas of smoked meats, dried red rose, allspice, clove, dark plum, dark cherry ,blackberry, mulberry, mandarin, violets, sandalwood, bay and funky undergrowth. This aroma really revs me up, it continues to evolve as time goes by. This wine is alive! Complexity, poise, sinewy acid, fine tannins wrapped around a sleek core of pristine dark fruit. The best Chardonnay from the family’s vineyards is used to make this vintage Trentodoc; it is the wine that best summarizes the art of Ferrari. The phrasing of its taste is highly elegant, with a crescendoing finish. Pale golden highlights adorn its straw yellow colour. The perlage is extremely fine and persistent. Aromatic richness of extraordinary expressiveness: the scene is dominated by hints of Reinette apples and citrus fruits, accompanied by tones of white peach, almond blossom and toast-like notes. Elegant and harmonious, with the unmistakable fruity, aromatic sensations that are typical of Chardonnay. These are followed by a slightly almondy finish of great persistence, the result of long ageing on the yeasts.
