Leeuwin's Art Label Shiraz has quickly established itself as one of Margaret River's best examples of the variety. Aromas of pepper and dark berry fruit are followed by a palate of length and class.

First made in 1959, Penfolds Kalimna Shiraz is an icon in the field of warm-climate Shiraz. Always ripe, robust and generously flavoured. The Bin 28 is named after the Kalimna vineyard that was purchased back in 1945 and from which the original fruit was sourced from. Today, the Bin 28 is a great example of the Penfolds dedication to multi-region, multi-vineyard blending. The Barossa Valley will always remain an integral part of the Bin 28 blend providing rich, vibrant primary fruit flavours.

The trailblazers of the Adelaide Hills have created another outstanding wine. A superb expression of modern cool-climate Shiraz; Shaw & Smith is elegantly spicy and brimming with supple red-fruit flavours matched by fine tannins. An absolute ripper.

The wine reflects the slate and granite soils with strong mineral notes, and fruit flavours of blackberry, Morello cherry. Complex deeper notes of earth and cured meats bring the palate to a long and evenly weighted finish. Strikingly beautiful, the wine shows perfumed aromas of dark plum, mulberry, thyme, clove and roasted hazelnut on the nose, leading to a beautifully refined palate that’s silky and flowing. Medium-bodied, rich and perfumed. A rush of summer berry fruits and sweet spice notes. An aromatic, approachable wine that offers great versatility with a wide selection of cuisines, including grilled red meats, Italian sausage and antipasto. Aromas: An inviting nose that offers perfumed aromatics and pastry-like complexity. A note of lifted cherry danish, complete with a subtle hint of icing dusting. The sweetness continues with cannoli filled with creamy custard, while vanilla and almond slivers add a nutty, floral richness. Cranberry and forest fruits provide a vibrant core, highlighted by exotic spices like cardamom, cinnamon and thyme. Floral notes of hibiscus blend seamlessly with aromas of white strawberry and fresh plum, resulting in a nose that is both sweet and bright. Palate: On the palate, this medium-bodied wine unfolds gracefully, showcasing luscious, sweet fruits alongside dark generous offerings that speak to its three-varietal composition. Pink pepper adds a light spiciness over brambly fruit notes. The Grenache component lends tension and elegance, contrasted by the generous heartiness of Shiraz and complemented by the earthy undertones of savoury Mataro. Well integrated slatey tannins craft a structure that is both firm and approachable, while balanced acidity ensures the wine's freshness persists through each taste. Chateau Tanunda was established in 1890 and is the site of some of the First vines planted in the Barossa in the 1840s as well as the Valleys first winery. The grapes for this Cabernet Sauvignon are from select rows of our Eden Valley vineyard. This wine displays deep, rich purple and red hues. The bouquet has lifted aromas of blackcurrant,bluberry and spice on the silky smooth palate with hints of cedar and mint.

Shiraz is thought to be one of the oldest grape varieties. It is typically deeper in colour just as the colour of this wine from the Great Western area. It has the elegance of a cool climate wine; Black peppery and sometimes mint characters with warm spices on the nose with great tannins and oak structure on the palate. Best's Great Western Bin 1 Shiraz is beautifully made for most occasion.

Bin 138 is inspired by the wines of Southern Rhône, where Shiraz, Grenache and Mataro are blended to create full-bodied wines. Each year fruit for Bin 138 is sourced from old Barossa Valley vines (some more than 100 years old) and matured for 12 to 15 months in seasoned oak hogsheads to allow the different varietals to shine through. Bin 138 is defined by its distinctive plum, raspberry pastille and underlying spicy notes. The first vintage release of this varietal blend was the 1992, labelled Old Vine Barossa Valley it was then elevated to Bin status for the 1998 vintage. Medium-bodied and refined, expect an initial outer husk of berried flavours followed by a mid-palate burst of fruits.
