From the grand masters in Port comes Taylor's 10 year old tawny from Portugal. It is derived from maturation in 630 litre casks and is noted for its delicate wood notes combined with gentle scented, sweet ripe red fruits. Displays lovely fresh lemon, spice, floral and caramel notes with a hint of honey. Drier than typical Aussie tawnies, but very enjoyable with power and a very long finish.

This wine is bright in colour with youthful tints and medium density. The Beechworth Pinot Noir is consistent with its lifted cherry fruit with the oak very much in the background. The red fruit spectrum continues on the palate with Campari like savoury fruit. Soft tannins make for a very enjoyable young, vibrant Pinot Noir.

The colour is deep orange amber with floral aromas of crushed rose petal, lavender and orange blossom. The palate has rich raisins with subtle oak and great length.

A wine becomes fortified when a neutral spirit is added during the fermentation process. The last few releases of Brown Brothers Patricia Cabernet Sauvignon have put this firmly on the map of Australian benchmark Cabernets. It's colour already a great indication of a wine with depth, along with the complex aromas of blackcurrant, dark fruits and well integrated oak. The ripe fruits are very concentrated on the palate with distinctive fine tannins, hints of sweet spice and a lingering finish.
