Galway Pipe Fine Old Tawny

This multiple Gold medal winner tawny is wonderful way to end a great meal with friends & family. This is a luscious full-flavoured port, rich with raisins, brown sugar and nuttiness. Enjoy with a generous cheese plate. Fortified wines were perfected in the 1700s and were popular as they were able to withstand long sea journeys. A wine becomes fortified when a neutral spirit is added during the fermentation process. There are many different types of fortified wines including Tawny, Port, Apera, Sherry, Muscat and other fortifieds. Common flavours include ginger, toasted hazelnuts, raisins, caramel and cinnamon. Fortified wine pairs well with seafood, tapas, fruit cake or enjoyed as a cocktail, aperitif or digestive.

Brown Brothers Patricia Cabernet Sauvignon

The ripe fruits are very concentrated on the palate with distinctive fine tannins, hints of sweet spice and a lingering finish. A fantastic vintage to enjoy now or careful cellaring for another 6 - 8 years.

Brown Brothers Patricia Pinot Chardonnay Brut

Candied fruit, straw and bready cracked-yeast characters are full and appetising to sniff. In the mouth, it's full and rich and loaded with toasty lees-age and pilot flavours, finishing nicely dry, with balanced soft acidity and plenty of verve with a sustained and satisfying finish. 'A refined, sophisticated sparkler with layered complexity and a zesty citrus element. An absolute gem!' - Bob Paulinski | Vintage Cellars Master of Wine.

McWilliam's Hanwood Estate 10 Year Old Grand Tawny

This Tawny shows how good Australians are at making affordable fortified wine. With dried fruit flavours and dusty all-spice, its an after dinner treat.

Domaine Landron De Le Fief du Breil

Fine minerality and sea breeze, on the palate, the 14 months on its lees with regular stirring has created a supple wine with great depth, flavours of honey and nuts which then give way to stony complexity and a refreshing acidity on the finish.
