Each variety is a pure and classic expression showing bright, elegant and gentle sweet fruit flavour that finishes light, soft and very long. You‘ll know even before you take your first sip, Sweet Caroline is just what you’ve been looking for! Bright purple with raspberry red hue. The wine has lifted aromatics of blackberry, plum and vanilla. The palate is bright and juicy with dark berry fruit flavours supported by light brown spices in a softly rounded, fleshy wine. Long and satisfying, finishing refreshing and flavoursome.

The high altitude Orange region is producing some outstanding Merlot and this release, made by Debbie Lauritz, is a great example. Aromas of dried herb and currant are supported with sweet fruit flavours.

The warm even climate of the Murphy family's Trentham vineyard is ideally suited to producing rich softly textured Merlot with toasty oak and berry flavours - great with lamb!

A great Merlot, this wine has intense plum, raspberry and cherry flavours with silky soft tannins.

Classic Margaret River nose of cassis, mulberries and capsicum. Fermentation and development in French and American oak, gives this wine a delicious mouthful of sweet fruit with notes of chocolate, cedar and plums.

This traditional blend has distinctive varietal characters of plums, coffee and dark chocolate with hints of violet flower. It is a wine of great length with textured soft tannins.

Admired for its beautiful landscapes, landmarks and world-class wine, the Clare Valley has a lot to offer - just like this flavoursome Cabernet Merlot. This classic blend combines Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, which shows spicy and generous fruit flavours and is complemented by supple tannins. It delivers great length and generosity on the palate, and is perfect to pair with barbecued or grilled meat dishes.

Grape Varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon 86%; Merlot 14% Purple with crimson edges looks serious in the glass. Tobacco leaf feint cassis purple plums a complex nose which adds weight to the serious theme. Quality MR Cabernet leads the charge here. A wine with high cheek- bones. Just ripe cabernet gives this sinew and poise. Merlot is subservient almost hard to detect. Terrific wine, at almost twice the price.

When properly grown and blended Merlot is one of the great grape varieties capable of producing rich, well-structured wines. The Mount Lawson Merlot explores the full possibilities of the grape with dark cherry and plum aromas leading to generous flavours of red tree fruits and a soft mid-palate redolent of blackberry. The finish is long and satisfying with hints of vanilla.
