On the road between Lobethal and Mount Torrens in the Adelaide Hills, Sacha La Forgia has set about creating the district's first gin. Botanicals include juniper, coriander, citrus, Clove, Cinnamon, Black Pepper, Star Anise, Orris and Angelica Retasted 2017 Brilliant crystal clear. Great freshness. Nosing detects liquorice root, anise, piney juniper, light coriander, orris root, lime juice and a peppery tingle. A viscous, silky delivery with seamlessly integrated citrus sorbet, juniper and dried herbal notes and a creamy, spicy finish. 42% Alc./Vol. Retasted 2016 Ideal clarity. Pure and ultra fresh aromas are of crushed pine needle / juniper, plus hints of lemongrass and white pepper. Creamy entry follows through with vibrant midpalate flavours of lemon mousse, pepper and menthol / pine at the finish concluding super fresh, poised and long with a warming white pepper, menthol and juniper fade. 42% Alc./Vol. 92 points First release tasted August 2015 Brilliant crystal clear. Offers up bright scents of lemon verbena and juniper followed by hints of celery and fennel. Several minutes in the glass finds the accent on potpourri. Light to medium bodied with pepper, juniper and lemon meringue at mid palate. Ends fresh, dry, mildly piney, sappy and sweetly herbal in the fade. 90 points 42% Alc./Vol.
Shaw & Smith Lenswood Vineyard Chardonnay
A fine-boned Chardonnay that reflects vintage conditions and the character of a unique vineyard site purchased by Shaw + Smith in 2012. Inaugural vintage: 2014. Planted in 1999, the vineyard has east and west facing aspects and reaches 500 meters above sea level. The soil is brown loam over clay with some broken shale and stone on the ridges. The wine is100% hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed, then fermented and matured on lees in 500-litre French oak puncheons (30% new) for 9 months.

Manser Block 4 Shiraz
This is the sixth release of this wine and it's richness is again on display. This is rich, ripe, Hills shiraz looking a lot like the 'Vales. Black and blue fruits dominate with a hint of eucalypt and a palate supported by 20% brand new Frenach oak. A very classy wine that demands decanting to enjoy now but will offer improvement over the next 10-20 years.
Pavan Liqueur
Named after the 16th century dance of the peacock, Pavan celebrates the South of France. Fine muscat grapes and orange blossoms compose the heart of this delicate and complex liqueur. Refreshing in a sangria with sparkling water and ice, Pavan is also perfect with vodka, gin, tequila and champagne.
Ricard Aperitif
First created by Paul Ricard in Marseille, 1932 it has distinct fresh taste of liquorice and subtle Provence herbs. Aged in large barrel in the open air a slight 'sea-side' flavour is imparted by the salt spray that licks the barrels.
Kilikanoon Oracle Shiraz
This hand made wine is both complex and rewarding having no filtration prior to bottling to preserve the rich plum and spicy fruit flavours. All fruit was estate grown and sourced from low yielding, hand pruned and picked vines.
Casamigos Reposado
Casamigos Reposado, aged for 7 months, is soft, slightly oaky with hints of caramel and cocoa. It has a silky texture with a medium to long smooth finish.
