These conditions have yielded a wine of remarkable intensity and precision. The Vineyard We selected fruits from theBernard 76 and Bernard 95 clones, originally propagated from Burgundy's finest vineyards. These premium French selections are prized for their small berries and intense flavor concentration - the Bernard 95 contributing bright citrus and mineral notes, while the 76 clone adds texture and stone fruit complexity. When grown in our high-altitude vineyards, they produce wines with exceptional balance and aging potential. Tasting Notes Elegant and finely structured, this cool-climate Chardonnay delivers a crisp yet rounded mouthfeel. Flavors of nectarine, lemon curd, and juicy grapefruit are complemented by a subtle creaminess from well-integrated malolactic fermentation. The French oak is restrained, contributing a silky texture and nuances of spice and cashew. Production: 2015 Vintage - 100 Cases Oak maturation: New & 2 Yr old French oak hogshead casks for 15 months. Handpicked and gently crushed just after dusk on a cool night. Matured in new & used French oak barrels for 15 months. A Cabernet with dense ripe red and blue lifted fruits and rich cassis and tobacco notes. Some spice mixed with earthy tones. The wine is full bodied and fruit forward with pleasing black fruit surrounding a leafy core. The tannins are fine and focused. Good cleansing acidity with an elegant but savoury finish

The 2013 Kanta Riesling is a youthful green gold in the glass. The nose entices with notes of lemon curd, buttery pastry, honeysuckle and kaffir lime leaf, backed by lovely tertiary notes of brown lime cordial and a hint of kerosene. The palate is yielding and fleshy, but remarkably fresh for 8 years old. At first the palate yields pineapple and baked lemon pudding, well supported by gentle acidity. The time on lees and maturation in bottle means that this is a wine that has truly settled into its own skin.
