Viticulture - Handpicked fruit from the open lyre trellis “Home Block” vineyard went into this Sauvignon Blanc. The 2022 vintage was a warm year for white grapes in Margaret River allowing plenty of time during January and February to ripen the fruit to our specification. Winemaking - The fruit was harvested very early in the morning, then sent immediately to the winery for processing. 44% of the wine was fermented in stainless steel with a known yeast strain. The remaining wine was fermented in French barriques with 49% of the blend being fermented with wild yeast on medium to high solids. The final blend was put together in July 2022. Storage and Bottling - Bottled under screw cap into a premium burgundy bottle in August 2022. After elevating the Sauvignon Blanc to the ‘Premium’ status within the Forester range in 2009, we have further increased the structure and complexity of the wine through barrel fermentation, partial wild fermentation and storage on lees.

Leeuwin Estate Prelude Cabernet

The tannin and acid are seamlessly integrated from the front through to the long and lingering finish.

Moss Wood Amy's Cabernet Blend

The Moss Wood Amy's offers undeniable Moss Wood quality at an easily affordable price. Beautifully soft yet full-bodied it shows pristine varietal character impeccable balance and is simply a pleasure to drink - whether it be upon its release when it shows optimum primary fruit and robust texture or after a few years in the cellar when the classic secondary characters begin to wonderfully take control.

Nocturne Nebbiolo Rose

The Sangiovese fruit was simply destemmed, chilled and pressed using only the free-run fraction of the juice. It was then fermented at moderate temperatures using as always solely indigenous yeasts. After fermentation it was matured for three months on gross lees to add additional texture. The Nebbiolo fruit was hand-picked and, after chilling, whole bunch-pressed directly to old oak for fermentation. This took close to six weeks, after which the wine received a further four weeks maturation in barrel. At this stage the final blend between Sangiovese and Nebbiolo was decided and the wine was emptied from barrel/tank, settled, filtered, sulphured and bottled in late July.We are super stoked with the final wine!!The texture and acid structure are highlights of what is likely a more approachable and fruit-forward release of Nocturne rosé

Rosabrook Cabernet Merlot

Devils Lair Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon

'Devil's Lair winery was considered a boutique winery until not that long ago. In recent years it has evolved to become one of the heavy weights of the Margaret River region. The winery's quirky name derives from an archaeological dig site on the property that unearthed an ancient Tasmanian Devil fossil. From the year that Devil's Lair's entry level wines earned accolades at Royal Society shows, I was expecting big things, and this wine doesn't disappoint. The wine's characters are intense, lean and focussed. Notes of strawberry jam, mulberry and blackcurrant. The Devil's Lair Cabernet Sauvignon is built for comfort, not speed. It will age well into teenage years and beyond.' - Andrew Woodforth, Vintage Cellars Spit Junction. From a small block on the family-run Carter Road Vineyard in the heart of Wilyabrup, this wine is a world-class example of how great Malbec can drink on its own.
