Jacob's Creek Cool Harvest Pinot Grigio was harvested in the cool of night when the fruit was at its coolest and freshest to capture the natural, crisp, fruit flavours. Deep in the middle of the night, carefully selected parcels of quality Pinot Grigio were picked with the fruit simply bursting with natural vibrancy. The growing season was perfect with extended rain during the winter of 2010 allowing a healthy fruit set and ample crop. On the nose the Cool Harvest Grigio has elevated notes of pear, stone-fruit and lemon zest while the palate follows up with the same zesty pear and wonderful citrus notes.

Oh yeah. Don't miss out on this sexy, slippery wine exuding lychees, nuts and nashi pears (and yes we do believe there's a difference nashis are light and crisp while still having a depth of sweet fruit flavour). Piquette from Pinot Gris is a naturally lower in alcohol fruit wine, sustainably crafted by upcycling pressed grape skins. Our Piquette from Pinot Gris is ripe pear, apple, and a hint of spice, leading into a palate that bursts with fresh fruit flavours.

The Pinot Gris from the Long Road range of the Eden Road wines has lifted aromas of strawberry shortcake and ripe pears. These delicate characters are balanced with fine natural acid and textural palate. The slightly extended skin contact prior to pressing gives the wine the lovely pink colour, making it evermore appetizing. The finishing is crisp and clean. Simply seamless.

This great Pinot Gris from Mt Difficulty has aromatics reminiscent of a fruit cocktail full of stone fruit, melon and green mango. These characters are richly replicated on the palate, with a full-textured mid palate and an off-dry finish. Delicious.

A relative newcomer on the Australian wine scene, Pinot Grigio offers a real alternative to the more traditional white varieties. Yalumba provide an exellent example here with a spicy, flavoursome, textured and a great food match styled wine.

This Pinot Gris has a bright straw colour with lifted aromas of honeysuckle pear and floral notes. Ageing in oak has given the wine a creamy texture and with crisp acidity on the finish.

Te Kahu is a wine of richness, with lovely black fruit flavours, hints of spice and long, fine graceful finish. From gravelly soil, it is made very much in the image of good Bordeaux.
