Giesen Pinot Gris

Giesen's Pinot Gris is an beautifully aromatic and vibrant white wine balanced with subtle elegance. A nose of poached pear along with notes of almond, dry spice and a whiff of vanilla. In the mouth the wine continues to please with tropical fruit tones and a textural brioche characteristic. Along with the attractive fruit and moutfeel, the wine is impeccably structured with cooling acid lines and a length of flavour that is nothing short of persistent.

Crafters Union Pinot Gris

Crushed and destemmed to Press, only the free run juice was used to retain the natural fresh fruit flavours. Settled in cool temperatures, the wine fermented for 1 month, using specially selected yeast strains to encourage complexity on the palate. Aromas of nashi pear, spice, and nectarine with flavours of fresh citrus, melon and apple leading to a silky, off dry finish

Petaluma have access to some of South Australia's premier vineyard sites which are put to impressive use here with their White Label Pinot Gris. 100% sourced from the Adelaide Hills, yet four vineyards are used to create this delicious white; two in the Piccadilly Valley, one near Balhannah and one near Lenswood. Only the very best fruit was selected and left to ferment in older French barriques, the resulting wine has a classic cool-climate backbone with racy acidity and depth of flavour on the palate.

La La Land Pinot Gris

Ripe brown pears, a hint of sweet cinnamon spice (almost bourbon barrel sweet), sweetened cream with light tropical fruit. Palate brings more pears,  followed by bittersweet citrus amalgam before falling away to spice. Some viscosity and breadth without being fat, but never goes too far into any camp. Enough of a Gris to make Grigio drinkers pause, but doesnt quite carry the power when you need a Gris punch. Serve with grilled pink ling.
