Alte Orange Chardonnay

Fresh stone fruits with a hint of toasty oak. Mediumbodied with creamy stone fruit flavours and a fresh finish. Established in 1995, the 508 hectare Cumulus vineyard is one of the largest single vineyards in New South Wales, and which gently rises and falls across a range of elevations and slopes above and below 600m traversing both the Orange and Central Ranges wine regions. In such unique surroundings the Cumulus vineyard provides a range of elevations, terrains, volcanic soils and aspects which combined with the areas high altitude, intense sunlight and cool climate delivers wines with bright fruit flavours and subtle elegance. Cumulous Wines are crafted by a winemaking team led by the highly respected Group Chief Winemaker Rod Hooper in the Riverina and Debbie Lauritz in Orange. They source premium cool climate grapes from Orange, Central Ranges, the Clare Valley, Adelaide Hills, Coonawarra, McLaren Vale, Yarra Valley and Margaret River to present a comprehensive Australian offering from the most recognised and distinguished wine regions. Long term relationships with premium grape growers ensure access to the first class fruit.

Contentious Character Prem Chardonnay

Aged 15 months in oak, this wine displays green apple and hints of toasted oats on the nose, which comes through on the palate giving apple strudel flavours.

Briar Ridge Which Way Pinot Gris

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a watery hue. Aromas of green apple, red apple skin and orange zest have a subtle waxy overlay with hints of pear also evident. Nicely textured the palate opens with pear and red apple skin flavours which overlay a delicate citrusy honeysuckle like back drop. Finishes dry with lively acidity and a tangy aftertaste.
