Stonyfell's pioneering spirit was born in 1858 when newly arrived immigrant Henry Clarke established vineyards in South Australia. Some 150 years later, the Stonyfell name is inextricably linked with the innovation and excellence of the Australian wine industry. Proof of which was the fact that Stonyfell 'Metala' Shiraz Cabernet was the inaugural winner of the Jimmy Watson Trophy in 1962! Today, Stonyfell is a full-bodied Langhorne Creek stunner that is a concentrated amalgam of black berry, chocolate and spice with hints of toasty vanilla. One of the vineyards that was established 150 years ago, Stonyfell has since become a household name due to their quality and innovation in the Australian wine industry. The Baton Shiraz Cabernet is an iconic blend that has complexity and balanced well between fruit's concentration and acidity. It is layered with a solid core of dark red fruits, gentle oak and finely textured tannis, which gives structure and length.

Take It To The Grave Shiraz is vivid red and purple in colour with an expansive nose of blackberries, blood plums and chocolaty oak. The palate is opulent and inviting with dark plum and blackcurrant fruit flavours matched by dried herbs, cloves and subtle spicy oak.

Bleasdale is “one of the most historic wineries in Australia... in 2015 celebrating 165 years of continuous winemaking by the direct descendants of the founding Potts family.” (Halliday). Among many major awards, they’ve won the Jimmy Watson Trophy and they recently made the 2023 Shortlist for the Halliday Wine Companion's Best Value Winery. Winemaker Paul Hotker, a “master blender”, was named Halliday’s Winemaker of the Year 2018. Bernoota was the original name of the Lake Breeze homestead and now the Bernoota Shiraz Cabernet is rightfully considered to be one of Australia's favourite Shiraz Cabernet blends. And they don't come much better than Bernoota for the price! Not only is it rich and luscious, filled with blackcurrant, spice and pepper, it has a touch of dark chocolate on the finish. The 2009 is a 60% Shiraz and 40% Cabernet blend and spends 20 months in a mixture of French and American Oak that will see the wine not only be enjoyable now, but develop beautifully in the bottle for a further 8 to 10 years.
