This is a superb example of the famous Hunter Semillon. Alternate in style and fuller in flavour, with tropical, grassy, lifted characters and a zesty palate. 'Today's selections are all comparatively low in alcohol - light bodied but tasty wines delivering great drinking pleasure. Semillon seems a natural starting point as, along with prosecco and riesling, the variety develops ripe flavours before grape sugar levels (and hence alcohol levels) climb too high. The warm Hunter region excels at the style but sometimes requires cellaring to soften the austere acids. Made entirely from fiano grapes from the one vineyard in the Mount Lofty ranges of The Adelaide Hills, this fruity white tastes of nectarine, white peach, tropical fruit and zesty lemons. Try with pan fried fish, scallops or king prawns.

A lightly-structured amber wine breezing in at 10.8% abv, awash with sluicing acidity, explosive greengage/orchard fruits, cool herb and spice, and the subtle hum of deeper savoury notes.

Although not typically lemony, this wine exhibits more complex aromas of smoked almonds and honeysuckle as well as buttery textures from the natural malolactic fermentation. The palate displays a spicy mineral flintiness with exotic fruit flavours.
