First Creek are really winning over a lot of new fans, especially wine drinkers who may have previously not given the Hunter Valley its fair dues. In the glass: Deep garnet to purple. On the nose: Black and blueberry fruit, and spice. On the palate: Medium to full-bodied with luscious texture and soft tannins. Showing black cherry, blueberry and vanilla alongside red liquorice notes. Long and moreish.

A very appealing yellow/green tinted colour. Tropical aromas with plenty of primary fruit as a young wine. Minimal oak influence, of which adds a slight bran meal note. More tropical fruit on the palate, balanced by bright zesty acidity. An excellent and flavoursome Chardonnay.

Cremant refers to French sparkling wine made in the traditional method outside of Champagne and is specific to a handful of regions. This one, from Burgundy, has a soft effervescence, is creamy and rich showing good complexity. A full, crisp style, exhibiting quality, cool climate Chardonnay fruit.

The emphasis is on the bright and lively aromas of ripe new season's apples and a citrus fruit tang. This wine has a well-balanced palate dominated by fresh crunchy apple, a touch of citrus and just a hint of yeasty complexity. It is lively and fresh in the mouth with a good persistence of flavour and a finish that is dry and refreshing. This sparkling is fresh, lively and ready to enjoy.

Born-and-bred Hunter Valley specialist, Aaron Mercer spent years at Tamburlaine, and had stints at Tyrrell’s and Brokenwood, before setting up on his own. He’s also worked in California, France and Germany so brings a great deal of experience to his winemaking, with a a great small-batch range from premium Hunter Valley sites, Tumbarumba and Orange. This classy, gently oaked Hunter Chardonnay boasts fresh peach, vanilla, and pannacotta flavours and a nutty edge.

Brookdale Semillon comes from Tyrrell's famous HVD vineyard which was planted in 1908. It nearly always produces Semillon that are floral, softer, and more approachable. The floral nose leads into a palate that is seamlessly balanced between soft Semillon fruit characters and a clean, light finish.

The intention with this wine is to deliver a modern style of Hunter Semillon which offers outstanding early drinking appeal in combination with an ability to age over the short to medium term. The frame is still fine, but the flavours are more generous. Try with Sydney Rock Oysters!

A beautifully crafted classic Hunter Chardonnay from a 5 red-star-rated master of the art! Andrew Margan bergan his winemaking career at Tyrrell's, set up on his own, was named the Hunter Valley Viticulturist of the Year in 2015 for the quality of his vineyards and his innovative viticultural techniques. This exceptionally well-made Chardonnay is partially fermented in new French oak for added texture and complexity.
