Arneis, a crisp, crunchy, spicy Italian white originating from Piedmont, Italy, traditionally made without oak. Dal Zotto are owned and managed by the Dal Zotto family where their vineyards, winery and cellar door lie cradled in the tranquil King Valley in the foothills of the spectacular Victorian Alps of northeast Victoria. This great Pinot Gris from Mt Difficulty has aromatics reminiscent of a fruit cocktail full of stone fruit, melon and green mango. These characters are richly replicated on the palate, with a full-textured mid palate and an off-dry finish. Delicious.

Pristine Pinot Gris fruit is sourced and blended for this wine from two vineyards, one in King Valley and the other from the cool sub region of Whitlands High Plateau. On the nose Nashi pear and citrus, over Johnny red apple and subtle spice jump out of the glass. On the palate this is a textural white with layers of complexity to compliment up front King Valley Pinot Gris fruit. An exciting wine from one of Victoria's great wine regions.
