First Creek are really winning over a lot of new fans, especially wine drinkers who may have previously not given the Hunter Valley its fair dues. In the glass: Deep garnet to purple. On the nose: Black and blueberry fruit, and spice. On the palate: Medium to full-bodied with luscious texture and soft tannins. Showing black cherry, blueberry and vanilla alongside red liquorice notes. Long and moreish.

Hungerford Hill Early Bird Moscato

In the glass: Pale pink. On the nose: Musk, nectarine, peach and white grapes. On the nose: Plump, soft and full of fruit with a sweet mix of stonefruit, guava and grapes, a gentle balancing spritz and lovely texture adding to its charm. A very well made Moscato and true to style.

De Iuliis Estate Shiraz

De Iuliis Estate Shiraz is a deep-red coloured wine with a vibrant purple hue. The wine is savoury, earthy and spicy on the nose with a touch of cherry, blackcurrant and plum. The palate has a soft mouthfeel from fine-grained tannins and captivates with flavours of ripe plums and blackberries. This medium to full-bodied Hunter Valley Shiraz will continue to improve with careful cellaring. Enjoy it with BBQ lamb cutlets or red sauce pasta.

De Iuliis Single Vineyard Semillon

The grapes used to craft this wine were hand-picked in late January from Majors Lane Vineyard. De Iuliis Single Vineyard Semillon is a pale lime green-hued wine with an alcohol level of 10.5%. The lifted nose exudes floral and zesty citrus aromas while the palate is crisp and clean with citrus flavours, balanced by an innate mineral acidity that leads to a lingering finale. With a cellaring potential till 2021, this vibrant wine is a great match for seafood and roasted chicken with orange and thyme.

De Iuliis Late Picked Semillon

This irresistible luscious dessert wine has concentrated flavours of honey / marmalade, dried apricots and peaches. Its silky mouth feel, light palate and fresh citrus finish make it a favourite for sweet wine lovers.
