OR Wynns V&A Lane Cab Shz

A few years on, this carefully crafted wine has developed added nuance while retaining its food-friendly charm. The early-picked red fruit characters have softened into gentle dried cherry and cranberry notes, with subtle earthy undertones emerging. The naturally lower alcohol keeps the palate fresh, while the wild ferment complexity and maturation in large oak now show as integrated spice and savoury depth. A beautifully aged, elegant wine that continues to shine at the table.

Schoolhouse Block C1 Cabernet Sauvignon

Strong and full-bodied with notes of vibrant forest fruits and wild herbs. Fine tannins and subtle notes of oak deliver a wonderfully rich wine with flavour, structure and complexity.

Schoolhouse Block D1 Merlot

Vibrant and intense dark cherry paired with generous juicy dark fruits. The palate is balanced with layers of vanilla and hints of mocha supported by fine-boned tannins and underlying oak complexity.

Schoolhouse Block A2 Shiraz

With an abundance of purple and black fruits, and notes of mocha and middle eastern spice. Vibrant fruit supported by silky tannins and subtle toasted oak create a seamless, layered wine with intensity and length.

Lindemans Limestone Ridge Coonawarra Trio Shiraz Cabernet

Medium bodied with the plush dark berry fruit framed by fine grained tannins to give a long and persistent finish.

Jim Brand The Pursuit Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

Petaluma Coonawarra

Langton's Classification: Excellent

A stylish blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with a touch of Shiraz and Petit Verdot, from low yielding vineyards have produced another wine of elegance and class. Blackberry, mint and tobacco flavours are framed by fine tannin. The Shiraz adds some supple softness and the Petit Verdot adding aromatic lift. Another triumph!

Petaluma Petaluma Coonawarra

Langton's Classification: Excellent

"This Cabernet dominant wine is Coonawarra through and through. Black currant and plum are complemented by spice and black fruits, with cedar and abundant soft sandy tannins. Rich and full, it also displays Coonawarra elegance and suppleness, and is a vintage that is immediately drinkable, but one that will age gracefully for some years." - Andrew Hardy, Petaluma winemaker.

Riddoch The Author Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

The Author pays homage to pioneering vigneron John Riddoch (1827-1901). A true visionary, Riddoch is regarded as one of the founding fathers of Australian wine. The Author represents the finest expression of the vintage. The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is classic Coonawarra, with lush red berry fruit, with hints of plum, bramble and mint. Aged in a combination of new and old French Oak, seamlessly integrated with the fruit. Refined and silky tannins lead to a long and persistent length of flavour. This has all the hallmarks of a classic Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon and will drink well now but will reward cellaring for 10-15 years.
