The Leston Vineyard is the home of Howard Park in the Margaret River and produces a Shiraz that is plush and youthful with a sweet fruit palate married with delicious underlying spice and oak intergration.

Margaret River Syrah is noteworthy because of its fragrance and attractiveness in its youth. Aromas of juicy black cherries and boysenberries with a grind of black pepper. The palate possesses a fine grained texture comprising of ripe tannin which adds to the structure and depth of the wine.White pepper, black cherries and an eastern mosaic of spices greet on the nose, brought to yield by a soft palate of fleshy tannin and coating red and black fruits.

This medium bodied and elegant wine is a blend of predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon enhanced with a small percentage of classic varietals. Following fermentation and extended maceration, the wine has been matured in new and old French oak barriques, producing a complex blend of Margaret River fruit characters including cassis, eucalypt, capsicum, mulberry and plum with secondary notes of chocolate and cedar. 93/100 James Halliday Wine Companion 2016.

This is a complex, compelling wine with dark plums and ripe anise-like spice on the nose, silky tannins and understated oak nicely completing this moreish Shiraz.

Pure, elegant Margaret River Cabernet Merlot with characters of dried herbs, bay leaf, violets and redcurrant with savoury cedar and toasted spices from maturation in well seasoned French oak barriques and hogsheads. This delicious WA Shiraz is beautifully weighted. The lovely rich and spicy berry fruit flavours are balanced by gently drying tannins, and enhanced by light, complex oak characters. It's easy to see why this beautiful Shiraz achieved 92 Halliday points.

Crafted by Daniel Chaffey Hartwig and Theo Engela, this wine was fermented in a six tonne open fermenter with seven days skin contact and twice daily pump-overs. Matured in shaved, seasoned French oak hogsheads for 11 months.
