Another string to their 'Single Vineyard' bow, Wynns reinvested in the Child's vineyard in 2009 - elevating the fruit there from its traditional supporting role in other premium releases (including John Riddoch and Black Label) to having a dedicated bottling of its own. An intricately layered palate structure of ripe fruit and oak flavours seamlessly combined by maturation in barrels. Ripe dark berries, hints of dusty mulberry and spicy plums with subtle vanilla, mocha and chocolate oak flavours are richly interwoven. Fine grained, softly assertive tannins complement lingering flavours. Drinking at its peak, a great statement of luxury Australian Cabernet Sauvignon.

Jacaranda Ridge Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon, always exhibiting its Coonawarra provenance in the form of regional aromas and flavours, the intensity of the fruit produced by this location is exceptional for the region. Showcasing traditional regional characters of fine tannin and blackberry leaf, but also a darker, brooding quality unique to the vineyard from which the grapes were sourced. The balance and poise of this wine, along with the ample cassis and dark berry fruit flavour, will see this age well for decades to come.

This single block Shiraz is crafted to the highest standards, utilising fruit from one of the Coonawarras most outstanding Shiraz vineyards.
