The Travis Earth 908 Shiraz Mataro is a complex and elegant red wine from Barossa Valley, Australia. It is made from a blend of two classic grape varieties – Shiraz and Mataro.

"Elegant, opulent and powerful, King’s Mantle is the winery’s crowning selection. Evocative aromas of blackberry, blueberry, boysenberry, graphite and olive tapenade precede a concentrated, intense palate of black forest fruits seamlessly integrated with oak. Finely grained tannins provide structure.

Destemmed and tipped into a tonne fermenter. Gentle pump over and slow extraction until full dryness. Only the free run was placed into a 3 year old French oak barrel. Soft palate with extremely precise and thin tannins that caress and carry on the freshness and intensity.

This single vineyard, award-winning Levantine Hill Melissas Paddock Syrah, has its own inimitable characteristics of the unique site and inherent signature expression. It features a complex nose, featuring blackberry, liquorice, tar, spice and cherry oak. The resounding sophisticated palate features fine tannins leading to a long finish. There is a delicate nervy balance between savouriness and sweet fruit with an emphasis on balance and length for a resounding echo of flavour.
