This wine, Freycinet's junior Pinot Noir, reveals liveliness and youthfulness in its colour, aroma and flavours. Similar winemaking techniques are utilized as for their renowned Freycinet Pinot Noir. Fully ripened fruit from their Louis vineyard site is fermented over a 7 to 8 day period in a rotary fermenter. A pure yeast culture is added and the ferment temperature is allowed to peak at 32 degrees. After gently extracting colour, flavour and tannins from the skins the wine is pressed and matured in French oak barriques (8% new) for 12 months prior to bottling.

Richard Angove was very lucky to have grown up in a winemaking family. Since 1886, five generations of his family have worked in winemaking and grape growing. In 2008 he worked harvest in the beautiful Tamar Valley in northern Tasmania. He just loved the landscape, vineyards and flavours of the wines. Many years later when the opportunity arose to work with a number of small growers to create a range of small batch wines, he could not resist the opportunity, and so Lost Farm Wines was born.

The palate is lissom and has a mineral water like weight as citrus fruits mingle with toasted nut-meal and caramel. This Georg Jensen Hallmark Cuvýe is a 'designer' sparkling wine created as a collaboration between the renowned Danish design house, Georg Jensen, and cool climate Heemskerk wines in Tasmania. It's presented with an elegantly crafted closure that can be used as a bottle stopper. The sparkling itself is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, sourced from premium vineyards to produce a wine of elegance and persistence. The palate, containing notes of lemon pith and roast cashew nuts, shows restraint with a beautiful chalky mouthfeel and a backbone of taut acidity and elegant minerality.

A by House of Arras Premium Cuvee has a complex and inviting aroma with nuances of forest floor, nougat, exotic spice and lanolin. The palate has opulent flavours reminiscent of lychee, butter sauteed mushroom, natural yoghurt and fresh oyster.

This Riesling from Bream Creek is made from vines over 40 years old. It has a rich nose, showing freshly cut lime, French citron tart, spice and floral notes. The palate reveals vibrant lime, lemon and grapefruit balanced against taut and lively Tasmanian acidity, resulting in a wine with excellent length and a crisp, refreshing finish.
