In looking to create a gin with enough presence to shine in strong cocktails, the more delicate, floral botanicals have been left out. So it's adios strawberry gum leaf, granny smith apples, lemon myrtle and dried chamomile, and hello loads of juniper and the earthy depth of liquorice root.

Prohibition Gin Carafe

A delicate citrus/floral nose of fresh lime, guava and lavender warmth, given tension from herbal tones of pink peppercorn, lemon myrtle and the unmistakable, yet light scent of wormwood. Blood orange and peppery juniper set the tone on the palate with a fine interplay of refreshing herbal raciness and a pleasing sweetness derived from vanilla. Roku Gin

Roku is Japanese for "Six" which refers to the six Japanese botanicals used. Cherry blossoms, cherry leaves, green tea (sencha), refined green tea (gyokuro), sansh pepper, and yuzu are utilized along with eight other traditional gin botanicals. Smooth and oily, the gin has a rich character as it coats the tongue. Theres a fleeting glimpse of cherry blossom and traditional notes before the tea and tannic notes take over.
