Shiraz for its bold richness and Mataro for its savoury spice and earthiness. This single vineyard is nestled at the base of the Barossa Ranges in the Krondorf sub-region, it is planted in rich red loamy clay. It is sun struck during the day and is soothed by the cool air falling from the hills at night. The vineyard even though is young in Barossa terms, shows an intensity and complexity usually reserved for older vines. This wine to me is more than what’s in the bottle, it represents the on-going history of my region, the complexity of family and the chance of being able to create something I truly love."

Koshu, Japanese indigenous Vitis Vinifera cultivation variety, is said to be a unique grape varietal in Asia. The character of Koshu is slight but pleasant bitterness originated from its pink grey skin. Fermented and aged in stainless steel tank. This wine goes well with sushi and cuisines using dashi. Brilliant pale yellow with green tone. White flower aroma with oranges such as navel orange. Smooth touch and rich fruit across the palate. From middle aroma to finish, subtle bitterness brings its distinctiveness.

Château Guiraud is a large Sauternes property that is the only 1er Cru Classé, with the exception of its illustrious neighbour Château d`Yquem, that is located within the commune of Sauternes itself. Guiraud's 85 hectares of vineyards are located on one of the hills above the village of Sauternes. They are planted with 65% Sémillon and 35% Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes are harvested in "tries" and the juice is then fermented in oak barrels. The wine is then aged in oak casks (50% new) for 2 years. Guiraud is a very ambitious property with aspirations to produce a wine that will one day rival d`Yquem. The wines are astonishingly rich, especially in light of the high proportion of Sauvignon Blanc in the blend, and are undoubtedly amongst the finest wines being produced in Sauternes today.

Chateau Doisy Daëne is a deuxième Cru Classé estate of Sauternes located in the Barsac appellation of Bordeaux. Managed by renowned white wine specialist Denis Dubourdieu, the estates sweet Sauternes wine is a fresh lively style with crystalline fruit purity underpinned racy acidity. A fully botrytised blend of Semillon with a minor component of Sauvignon Blanc, the grapes are picked over successive tries and gentle pressed, before undergoing vinification and maturation in one third new French oak barriques for 10 months.

Tyrrell's Vat 1 Semillon is one of Australia's great white wines and has the capacity to age superbly in the bottle. This release continues the recent immaculate line up of Vat 1s that show classic citrus floral and honey aromas. The palate is dry, yet full-flavoured with lovely crisp acidity. Still only a relative baby in terms of Vat 1s longevity, this bottle will reward you for decades to come.
