Raspberry color with purple highlights. Lively and fragrant with delicate fruit (pomegranate, redcurrant) and floral (sage) aromas. A silky, savory, dry palate with an elegant note (quince preserves) on the finish.

The aromatics are true to type, initially delicate, even shy. Then as the glass warms a melange of spices including cardamom with hints of Lily of the Valley. The palate has drying raspberry entry followed by raspberries more fresh and zingy. All in all a long palate that really saturates your tastebuds with flavour. Please serve chilled. If you serve this wine at room temperature much of the magic of the Fairytale will be lost.

A popular Montepulciano dAbruzzo, appreciated for its soft flavours, strong colour and gentle tannins. This Montepulicano dAbruzzo is gaining popularity in its easy drinking on its own or with food. A lively red colour with purplish nuances. Vinous, fruity character with remarkable notes of berries. Velvety and harmonic taste, aromatic with a good final persistence.

Vibrant pink in colour, the nose has lifted, fruit aromas of fresh strawberry and raspberry with hints of watermelon and faint musk. Delicate fruit flavours with lively acidity keep it refreshing on the palate, with a dry finish.

Translucent cherry color. The nose offers up aromas of ripe cherries, plum juice and pomegranate with spice endnotes. Flavors of sweet cherries intermix with pomegranate and plum juice followed by some spice on the medium dry finish. Brisk acidity with an aftertaste of sweet cherries, plum juice, pomegranate, and light spice.

This wine is a knockout! Made from the Montepulciano grape in the hilly Abruzzo region. Zonnin had capture the nature of this grape and made it into tarry leathery long dry and utterly delicious wine! Absolutely perfect with pizza!
