Made by the nicest man in the business Kym Teusner, this Sparkling Shiraz was made to go with a hearty Barossa Breakfast. However if you don't live in the Barossa, we suggest you drink it at your leisure. Full bodied and juicy, its another wonderful wine from this wonderful producer. 2018 Blue Rock Wines, Eden Valley, Riesling This Riesling displays an intense citrus flower and tropical fruit bouquet. The flavours of ripe limes, lemon zest and a hint of green apple are apparent on the palate. The palate is soft and clean with a crisp acid finish and distinct minerality characteristic of Eden Valley Rieslings.

2018 Blue Rock Wines, Eden Valley Pinot Grigio Pinot Grigio is a wine style that comes from Italy. The Pinot Gris grapes are picked at a slightly earlier stage of development thus having higher acidity and lower sugar levels. The resultant wine is lower in alcohol and has a crisp acid finish. The aromas of citrus and pear indulge the nose. The palate has lovely nashi pear and lemongrass flavours. The zingy acidity makes this wine linger in the mouth and leaves you wanting more. Best enjoyed chilled, on its own or with fresh seafood.

2019 Blue Rock Wines Reserve Eden Valley ChardonnayThe fruit for this wine comes from our cool climate Eden Valley vineyard. It was harvested at optimum ripeness and fermented at low temperatures to retain the varietal characteristics. It displays the clean and lifted varietal nose of guava and lemongrass followed by a crisp palate of green apples, stone fruit and rockmelon. A small portion (25%) of this wine completed its fermentation in oak barrels. This has imparted some nutty and honeyed characters to the wine. Well suited to most seafood dishes.

Full-bodied Eden Valley Oaked Chardonnay. The fruit aromas of honeydew, green apple, and grapefruit combine perfectly with the creamy. The nutty aromas of the oak make this wine full-bodied and complex. The palate is full, with peach, green apple, and citrus flavours. Hints of nutty, creamy barrel-ferment flavours give this wine structure and elegance. A zesty acid finish balances the wine's lovely texture.

When Pete and Magali purchased the Dominion Vineyard in 2018, they were particularly excited to work with a tiny block of Chenin Blanc vines almost 100 years old. This is their first solo release from this ancient fruit. The Chenin fruit from this old site holds natural breadth and intensity of flavour, so Pete picks early to capture natural freshness and preserve balance. The fruit is crushed without destemming and pressed to French oak for fermentation, followed by partial malolactic conversion and maturation in demi-muids. What a wine this is! All those juicy, exuberantly fruity Chenin Blanc aromas and flavours, with the typical Spinifex thumbprint of texture and salinity. Watch this space, if this first release is anything to go by then this may soon become one of the country's leading Chenin Blancs.
