The 2019 Manfredi Patrizi Barbaresco DOCG is a true expression of the Piedmont region in Italy. On the nose, aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry and raspberry intermingle with earthy notes of tobacco and leather. From the marriage of the Queen and King of the Langhe, Barbera and Nebbiolo, comes Lautus, a wine of extreme finesse and nobility, destined for a long life. Lautus, from the Latin “elegant, distinguished,” embodies the best characteristics of the two grape varieties that make it up: the intense ruby and softness of Barbera are complemented by the austere and tannic trait of Nebbiolo, to give it structure and longevity. Lautus is the expression of two opposite characters that meet and complement each other in a relationship of perfect balance.

A single-grape sparkling wine made with Nebbiolo accordingly to the Classic Method. Dedicated to Daniela’s mother, Maria Teresa. Born in 2011, it is the third sparkling wine by Antica Cascina Conti di Roero: a successful experiment by Gigi, who simply adores bubbly. Nebbiolo retains its primary perfumes when make as a sparkling wine. It is picked at the end of August before the grapes are fully ripe and the acidity is still evident. Brilliant soft pink, with a fine, persistent perlage. It has an open perfume, reminiscent of crusty bread and scents of cherry and rose. Elegant, fresh and savoury on the palate, with a good acid content and an evident note of roses.

Made by the Torres family and coming exclusively from their vineyards located in the municipalities of Porrera and Lloar. Salmos is a Priorat wine, a blend between Carignan, Grenache & Syrah, that manages to achieve an unparalleled balance between power and elegance. Dark ruby red. Rich, ripe wine with floral (confected rose) and fruit (dark cherries, prunes) aromas. Beautifully framed by French oak. Elegant, subtle midpalate, very finely structured tannins and a slight touch of toast (cocoa).

Bannockburn is spicy with well intergraded savoury oak and great acidity backbone. The varietal flavours such as, raspberries, strawberries and red cherries fruits lingers with a faint hint of forest floor on the palate with well supporting tannins. A greatly composed wine, this is undoubtedly pushing the setting of this country's benchmark for Pinot Noir to another level.
