This wine displays a sustained and brilliant colour of great depth. The nose has already evolved and shows blackcurrant and other black fruit aromas. Under the winemaking direction of Michael Brajkovich, MW, the village label is the first tier in the Kumeu River portfolio. From vineyards around the Kumeu area, it is a wild yeast ferment Chardonnay with 100% whole bunch pressing and malo. One third is barrel fermented and the whole package seeks to highlight the white peach and flintiness that makes the area famous.

Côtes des Roses Rosé displays a warm blush colour. It has aromas of summer fruits, cassis and floral notes on the nose. The palate is full and fresh with great balance of fruits and acidity. A great summer drink to enjoy over a Sunday picnic or brunch.
