Church Block first appeared back in 1972 under the watchful eye of Greg Trott who was taken by one of the original vineyards that ran alongside the small Bethany Church, across the road from Wirra Wirra's old ironstone cellars. Over the last 4 decades, Church Block has become one of Australia's favourites with its rich, full-bodied style consisting of swathes of black and blue fruits and a nice, smooth finish that seems to last ever so long for such an affordable red wine.

An array of red fruits and spiced oak. Light red fruits and spiced oak. Fermentation completed in a stainless steel fermenter for 10 days. Pressed onto 1g/L of French oak (Cuvee Series No.1) chips. Matured on oak for four months. Blended with 10% of mixed white wine (pinot gris and riesling) to help soften tannins. Vivid crimson hues. Shiraz. Its Wine. Drink it. Situated in the heart of the Limestone Coast, Reschke benefits from optimal vineyard soils characterised by thin layers of rich red loams overlaying ancient limestone. This distinct combination provides the perfect foundation for grapevine growth, allowing Reschke to consistently craft high-quality wines that capture the essence of the region. This Shiraz has intense aromas of dark berries, black plums, and a touch of cracked black pepper. Ripe fruit flavours harmonise with notes of dark chocolate and subtle oak, creating a full-bodied and velvety mouthfeel,while well-integrated tannins contribute to the lingering finish that leaves traces of blackberry with a hint of spice.

Violets, cassis, boysenberry & tobacco. Rose hips, tarry, brambley framed with loosely woven tannin.

Aroma: Complex ripe cherry jam and plum aromas on the nose, with a hint of vanilla. Palate: Rich black cherry and plum with liquorice and a hint of mint on the palate with length and finesse. The intensity on this is turned all the way up.

Brightly fruited and immediately appealing, the inviting bouquet shows Granny Smith apple, capsicum, and lemon zest aromas. The palate displays excellent fruit purity and intensity, well supported by crisp acidity, finishing long and flavoursome.

A unique expression of the Margaret River, Deep Woods Hillside Cabernet Merlot exhibits aromas of cassis and dried herbs. The palate is a rich mixture of red and black berries and is medium bodied with elegant silky tannins. Great length with a touch of sweet spice and dark chocolate notes.

The vintage gods smiled ever so well on the majority of the vineyard area of South Australia during the 2008 vintage and the result are wines like this little beauty from Jamiesons Run. A brilliant wine of richness and sweetness upon release, time in our climate controlled cellars has amplified those secondary characters of herb, cedar and mocha to deliver a perfectly balanced, and affordable cellared wine.

The Eden Valley altitudes were always going to be the source for Kym Teusner's grand Cabernet statement. The fruit is awesome beyond belief, and it shows in this ridiculously underpriced masterstroke. An entitled mouthful of dark currants and blue fruits have a lasting depth all their own, wrapped in a precision poised tannin structure with grip and presence, yet silky throughout. Could be rookie of the year!
