Winemaker Paul Gordon is making good use of the beautifully sited mature Hamilton vineyards to produce superb McLaren Vale reds such as this ripe robust deeply flavoured Cabernet.

We have to talk about the Elephant in the Room Merlot. An aromatic scent of ripe, red berries balanced by spice and earthiness is continued into the palate with a well-contained flavour explosion. The delightful finish makes this the perfect wine to enjoy with friends.

An array of red fruits and spiced oak. Light red fruits and spiced oak. Fermentation completed in a stainless steel fermenter for 10 days. Pressed onto 1g/L of French oak (Cuvee Series No.1) chips. An easy drinking style, perfect for any occasion WINEMAKER’S NOTE: This Sauvignon Blanc is a blend of our two vineyards within the Limestone Coast. The Coonawarra fruit brings great natural acidity and citrus freshness, whilst the Wrattonbully bring tropical fruit flavours. VINTAGE NOTE: 2022 was a strong vintage, with stable conditions and harvest starting a little later than recent years. The crop levels were moderate, with aslight frost in November reducing the white varieties significantly from previous years.The resultant wines are concentrated and intense with great fruit flavours.

Situated in the heart of the Limestone Coast, Reschke benefits from optimal vineyard soils characterised by thin layers of rich red loams overlaying ancient limestone. This distinct combination provides the perfect foundation for grapevine growth, allowing Reschke to consistently craft high-quality wines that capture the essence of the region. This Shiraz has intense aromas of dark berries, black plums, and a touch of cracked black pepper. Ripe fruit flavours harmonise with notes of dark chocolate and subtle oak, creating a full-bodied and velvety mouthfeel, while well-integrated tannins contribute to the lingering finish that leaves traces of blackberry with a hint of spice.

With careful cellaring, this Jacob's Creek Classic Cabernet Sauvignon has developed into a beautifully balanced and elegant red. The vibrant crimson and purple hues have mellowed slightly, while the aromas of blackcurrant and cedar spice have deepened, now joined by subtle earthy and tobacco notes. On the palate, the dark berry and cherry flavours are smoother and more integrated, with the once-tight tannins now rounded and refined. The finish remains long and satisfying. A classic Cabernet that now shines with added depth—perfect alongside roast lamb or a rich beef dish.
