Sitting proudly next to the iconic Woodhenge gate at Wirra is a classic Aussie residence. Originally built after severe storms destroyed the winery buildings in 1940, the then owners, the Sparrows, built this residence with left over materials from the fallen winery. Over the years, Sparrow's Lodge has been home to vintage vagabonds and the occasional winemaker and it is the good times that have been had within its walls that is celebrated in this wonderful, rich, vibrant and full-bodied McLaren Vale Shiraz.

Kellermeister's Barossa Vineyards Shiraz has been crafted with immediate enjoyment in mind. Showcasing freshness, richness, generosity of flavour and vivacity of fruit, the unique regional and varietal characteristics are certainly evident in this wine. Great for everyday drinking, the Shiraz is ideal on its own but will also pair nicely to a range of red meats or cheeses.

The Reserve Shiraz is deepest dark red with a very youthful and vibrant garnet hue. The aromas are powerful and complex with a wealth of fruit ranging from ripe black cherries and blackberries with hints of eucalypt and spice. The rich and full palate displays soft flavours of plum skin, mulberry and hints of vanilla and blackberry, These abundant flavours are underpinned by fine vanillan oak and defined by exciting spicy tannins

At Grant Burge Wines, we challenged ourselves to come up with the most vibrant and impactful wines possible. The result was ink. This is a lush and bold Shiraz with a dash of fortified wine showcasing sweet fruit, depth of shiraz flavour and a huge amount of warmth and generosity.

The Nosey Parker simply delivers in spades. Swathes of sweetly spiced blackberry woven with pencil shaving oak, backed up by a rich, powerfully long palate. The Nosey is a very versatile wine in that it is perfectly suited to be enjoyed on its own or is equally at home when paired with rich and flavoursome cuisine.

The Wise Wolf Shiraz is a brightly fruited and richly weighted wine with outstanding texture. It is a magenta red with lifted florals and red fruits on the bouquet accompanied by a sweet, fruity palate complimented by cinnamon and vanilla.

This Barossa Valley Shiraz from the 2018 vintage celebrates the spirit of the Golden Horse which means energy, confidence and forward momentum. Rich blackberry, plum and spice unfold on a generous palate, framed by smooth tannins and subtle oak. Bold yet harmonious, it captures both the heritage of Barossa and the auspicious symbolism of the horse. A wine for meaningful gatherings and prosperous new beginnings.

A powerful yet refined Shiraz, combining depth, balance and structure, with strong cellaring potential. Full-bodied and concentrated, showing rich dark-fruit flavours balanced by savoury spice and fine oak influence. Notes of mocha and vanilla emerge mid-palate, supported by well-structured yet supple tannins. Intense aromas of blackberry, dark plum and black cherry, layered with hints of cracked pepper, clove, cocoa and subtle cedar oak. Long, smooth and persistent, with lingering spice and dark chocolate nuances.

This is typically a full‑bodied Shiraz with robust fruit and spice character, smooth tannins, and a pleasing richness that makes it versatile with food. Deep, dark red colour in the glass, often with a slight purple tint. Bold and expressive dark fruit aromas — think ripe blackberry, plum, and dark cherry — often with hints of baking spice, black pepper and smoky oak on the nose. Full‑bodied and rich on the palate with juicy dark fruit flavours (blackberry, plum) supported by velvety tannins. You’ll also notice layers of spice, cocoa, licorice, and subtle earthy undertones that add complexity. The finish tends to be balanced and lingering, with fruit and spice notes carrying through.
