Z Wine's Rustica Shiraz is an intense crimson red with purple hues followed by aromas of ripe cherry and red plum which are complimented by hints of pepper and spice with lifted perfumed notes. The palate is warm and full flavoured, displaying generous sweet red fruit, such as cherry, raspberry and plum. These fruits are couple with cedar spice notes and the soft mouth-filling tannins carry the fruit as well as providing structure and length to the wine. Duck Duck Goose Shiraz is a ripping Barossa Shiraz from Blaxland Vineyards who own and manage over 300 hectares of vineyards in the Barossa Valley. Blaxland have recently been added to Hallidays Wine Companion following a string of good reviews for their wines. The newest release from elusive and enigmatic winemaker and grapegrower Jack West. Sourced from vines planted in the rich red soils of the Lienert Vineyards, where the fruit ripens lazily under the big blue skies of the Barossas western ridge. The result is a wonderfully flavoursome blend of Barossas three hero red varieties Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro. The Grenache brings vitality and juicy red fruits. Shiraz provides richness and dark fruits, with Mataro playing a key role delivering structure and a good dose of spice.

An intensely dark and opulent wine. This wine expresses the abundant raspberry, black cherry and dark chocolate characters of Barossa Shiraz. A sumptuous palate of rich flavours and a sweetness harmoniously balanced with fine tannin, natural acidity and lively effervescence.

Dense midnight black heart with a deep dark red black shaded hue. Pronounced dark plum aromas are followed by some liquorice and ripe blueberry scents with hints of vanillin cedar, fresh herb and peppered earth notes also present. Medium bodied the palate features juicy dark plum and red liquorice fruits over spicy vanillin cedar, infusions of fresh herbs and light pepper. The 2K20 GISA ARC Barossa Shiraz is a rich full flavoured wine with good intensity & power. It is medium bodied wine with generous, ripe fruit flavours, of blue berries, plum, black currant & liquorice. There are hints of vanilla bean and coconut derived from the American Oak with the balance in older French oak 60/40. True to its roots, it is a ripe, rich, full flavoured Barossa Shiraz. History will tell this will be a good vintage.
