Oliver's Taranga have a long and distinguished history in the McLaren Vale and are custodians of some of the premier vineyard land in the region. Corrina Wright is now the winemaking brain behind this progressive winery and her Shiraz is a modern masterstroke. Smoke and bacon on the nose with sweet and savoury tones. Sitting proudly next to the iconic Woodhenge gate at Wirra is a classic Aussie residence. Originally built after severe storms destroyed the winery buildings in 1940, the then owners, the Sparrows, built this residence with left over materials from the fallen winery. '100' is a old term used to nominate parcels of important land that had earned their place on the map. The fruit for this award winning Shiraz Viognier comes from the area once known as Willunga 100. A supremely structured Shiraz with juicy, brambly fruit accompanied by an integrated peachiness with delicious length.

Chapel Hill's McLaren Vale Verdelho has an intriguing and feisty array of flavours and aromatics. Kaffir lime leaf, passion fruit and honeycomb all leading into an endearing textural finish.

The Serafino Sorrento Chardonnay is a crisp style of white wine, full of flavour and bustling with liveliness just like the Sorrento Township. This is the 1st release of the Serafino Sorrento Chardonnay, a wine that takes a modern twist with exciting new labelling and refreshing winemaking. Sorrento is one Italys most famous towns and one of Serafino (Steve) Maglieris favourite beaches. Perched on top of cliffs that separate the town from the busy marinas below, visitors to Sorrento enjoy the beach lifestyle, and a myriad of bustling bars around the colourful café-lined square. Certified Organic grapes were handpicked in the cool early morning and crushed, chilled, and pressed on arrival at the winery. The juice was then transferred into French oak barrels for fermentation. Once fermentation was completed the barrels were stirred weekly, suspending the yeast lees giving the wine extra texture and suppleness. After 6 months in barrel the wine was racked off lees and given a light filter prior to bottling. Light straw in colour with green hues and aromas of bright guava,

We make our Mistelle using Chardonnay grape juice which is fortified with spirit and then matured for a number of years in older oak barrels. This allowed the wine to develop the desirable complex characteristics of the desert wine style. The result is a deliciously light desert style wine. In order to make this delicious fortified style, a specially selected parcel of Chardonnay was chosen to be fortified, then matured for a number of years in older French and American oak barrels. CELLARING This delicious developed fortified style which is ready for drinking now will continue to mature and change in the bottle, and can be laid down for a time.
