An inviting nose where barbeque smoke and cloves are intermingled with fresh notes of butterscotch and orange peel. On the pallet a fascinating blend of Applewood smoke, honey and all spice are married with stewed pears and fresh grilled pineapple. To add a depth of character Teeling Single Grain is exclusively fully matured in Californian Cabernet Sauvignon wine barrels which creates very distinctive rich amber colour while imparting strong spicy notes and lush red berries and grape flavours. Like all the Teeling Whiskeys, it's bottled at 46% with no chill filtration, allowing for all the natural flavours of the Whiskey to be retained. Made through the combination of unique ingredients, predominately maize/corn, and the modern technique of column distillation producing an exceptionally clean smooth and sweet Irish whiskey.

The lighthouse at Hook Head stands resolute against the full force of the Atlantic Ocean on Irelands southern coast, 10 miles from the distillery so close that Oliver Cromwell vowed to take Waterford 'by hook or by crook' in the 17th century. In its shadow, Martin Foley grows barley on clay/loam soils derived from limestone, belonging to the Elton Series. Exposed to the full range of salt-laden storms, sea mists & ocean breezes, its an extreme maritime terroir.Appearance: Straw with legs of oils coating the glass. Nose: Earthy maltiness & fresh soil, citrus peel, breadcrust, clove, white pepper, caramel, milk chocolate, salted popcorn, barnyard, oak green foliage. Taste: It's a spice bomb up front; with cloves, white pepper, salted caramel, liquorice, ginger biscuits, lemon zest, & chilli chocolate. Finish: Dry, but it leaves a lasting oiliness that holds the spiciness for a long time.

Blacks - Black Ops Irish whiskey is a careful blend of malt and grain whiskey, matured in Sherry and Bourbon casks and finished in extra deep charred Bourbon Oak barrels for an extra smooth, extra dark Black Whiskey. Non Chill filtered and bottled at 43%. The very heavy char level of the final cask gives the whiskey its dark colour with tons of vanilla, butterscotch and toffee lending extra smoothness and sweetness to this Black whiskey.

A 12 Year Old Single Malt aged in bourbon casks for 12 years giving the whiskey a honied sweetness, rich vanilla, oak spices and a herbal undertone. On the nose this Whiskey gives a natural honied sweetness with rich vanilla, oak spices and a herbal undertone. These notes develop to orchard fruits of white peach, apple & pear. The taste offers citrus hints of lemon, dried orange and a touch of honeysuckle. These flavours will evolve giving way to a silky vanilla palate with a tingle of spiced pear and warming notes of ginger and clove to finish.
