Since 1992, Madfish have been producing an exciting range of contemporary, cool climate wines inspired by the wild, coastal and pure characterises of Australia's South West. The wines are made by the dedicated team led by chief winemaker Janice McDonald. Black and blue berries, red currants, plum compote and roasted chestnuts mingle with coffee, cocoa and hallmark Cabernet minty earthiness to create a quite beautiful wine.

Our medium bodied Dragonfly Cabernet Sauvignon is an expression of the deep dark fruit characters we attain from the Ferguson Valley region, rich and smooth with lashings of chocolate. Winemaking technique enhances the aromatic and flavour profile of the varieties whilst maintaining a long fine tannin structure. Aromatic blackberry fruit, anise, ripe black plums, and bay leaf aromas. Vibrant Mulberry and blackberry fruits, intense flavour with silky long tannin balanced by fine French oak.

This Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot offers a lifted bouquet of dark and red berries with just a hintof oak and cedar. On the palate, there are notes of sweet red and dark berries, subtle earthy notes of graphite and bayleaf bring out a savoury element to the wine. This Margaret River wine is rich and complex, but still balanced through the support of fine grained tannins and seamlessly integrated French oak.

This wine is a classic expression of cool climate Shiraz with dark plum, sweet spice and fine tannins.

Pure, elegant Margaret River Cabernet Merlot with characters of dried herbs, bay leaf, violets and redcurrant with savoury cedar and toasted spices from maturation in well seasoned French oak barriques and hogsheads. The palate is fresh and tight with the structure and quality to cellar for many years.

This is a vibrant red wine, with flavours of rich red and dark berry fruit. The finish is soft with vanilla oak and fine tannins creating good balance and length.
