The blend gives spicy blackberry flavours, dark plum, black cherry dark fruit and a hint of pepper. There is also a distinctive mineral, perfumed note that comes from the Mourvèdre. The different soils and altitudes contribute hugely too.

Château Chantermerle Médoc

This wine displays a sustained and brilliant colour of great depth. The nose has already evolved and shows blackcurrant and other black fruit aromas. On the palate tannins are soft and smooth, with a steady balance and a long, fresh finish. Aromas of fruit, tobacco and liquorice harmoniously blend with those from the oak, giving rise to flavours which coat the palate without roughness. Overall a tender wine which has passed through a spirited youth to reveal the elegance typical of Chantemerle's terroir.

Château Cres Ricards Oenothera

This Estate was created in 1960, at the place known as Crès Ricards, in the village of Ceyras. In 2010 Jean-Claude Mas acquired the 27 ha (69 acres) belonging to the Château, extending the estate to 42 ha in 2013. He was fascinated by the fantastic terroir of the Terrasses du Larzac, which produces silky wines with intense flavors. At the foot of Mont Baudile, 35 km to the west of Montpellier, this vineyard offers a unique geography. Yields are low because of the strict grape selection and carbonic maceration is used to produce generous wines. Made from 70% Syrah and 30% Grenache and matured in new and older French oak for 10 months. The wine is at once full bodied and fresh, with notes of intense black currant, black cherry and mocha gliding to a silky, rich finish.

Mount Macleod Chardonnay

Expressive aromas of lemon and grapefruit, with subtle mineral overtones and hints of vanilla and spice. A leaner style of Chardonnay with unusual complexity and interest for this sort of price and which will complement a range of dishes.

Dopff Au Moulin Riesling

Dopff is a traditional Alsacian producer of quality table and sparkling wines. This fine stylish Riesling is delicately perfumed with both honeysuckle and citrus aromas. Blue Pyrenees Midnight Cuvee

This stylish sparkling has an elegant, delicate nose of green apples and citrus fruit. The palate is crisp and lively, the flavours in the lemon and lime spectrum with attractive minerally and acidity running through. A very classy fizz.

Forest Hill Estate Chardonnay

Vibrant aromas of stone fruit lifted by hints of raw almond, vanilla and apricot blossom. Fresh white nectarine and citrus leaf feature on the palate with well integrated barrel ferment character. The mouth feel is fleshy and well balanced with natural acidity persisting into a long finish.
