Bethany

Bethany Bethany Creek Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon

With some of the oldest vines in the Barossa, Bethany Wines has held a special place in the regions winemaking story for more than 40 years. The eastern ridge of the Barossa Valley provides a unique sub regional expression of Shiraz from this great wine growing area. Sourced from Schrapel family vineyards and those of a close neighbour and friend, this wine has all the hallmarks of this special place. A dark purple red in colour, the youthful nature of this wine is evident in the glass. A fresh, intense nose of red and black fruits and lifted clove spice is evident on the nose together with a tightening note of clean earth. A rich and balanced palate displaying black fruits and clove spice. A soft, ripe tannic framework giving structure and direction to the wine. Dark fruits embelish the strong framework and provide a long and balanced finish.

Bethany Cabernet Merlot

The Bethany Cabernet Merlot from the Schrapel family's Bethany winery exhibits herbal blackberry and cherry flavours with subtle oak in the background. Drinking well now, but also can handle a little bit of medium term cellaring to really coax those soft, ripe tannins to infuse beautifully with its primary fruit.

Bethany Old Quarry Fronti

Bethany's Old Quarry Fronti is a unique wine made from Muscat a Petit Grains, Muscadelle & the Spanish Sherry variety Pedro Ximenez. Harvested late in the season and then fortified, this delicious example can be enjoyed slightly chilled or as an aperitif.

Bethany Late Harvest Riesling

Late harvest styles of dessert wine are more versatile because they remain lighter than their Botrytis brothers. The Bethany shows some delicious sweetness with a lovely tingle of Riesling fruit acid.
