An elegant sophisticated Speyside with the most complex aroma of any malt. Astonishingly fragrant with sweetish notes and a smoky saltiness on the finish. Complexity married to such refinement is not easily found.

Cragganmore Distillers Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky appears warm gold in colour with a sweet nose of jelly, juicy fruits and a slight smokiness. Light to medium body with a firm, sweet palate of smoky undertones and nutty fruitiness. Medium finish with lovely oaky expressions, banana and vanilla notes linger on the tongue.

Breaking up the sherry party of this years releases this Port-cask finished whisky from Speyside’s Cragganmore. Following ageing in refill casks it had a second maturation in Port-seasoned re-charred American Oak with heavily re-charred new ends. The nose is full of dark cherries, plums and cocoa nibs, with subtle smoke. On the palate flavours are reminiscent of wine gums with forest fruits, oaky spice and distant bonfire. the finish is more lingering red fruits.
