Dalwhinnie 15 Year Old Scotch Whisky

Dalwhinnie is the highest of all the distillers in Scotland and place so to take advantage of the cleanest springwater possible. Dalwhinnie has a smokey, floral aroma and a delicate palate of heather and honed malt. A serious Whisky, yet approachable to the beginners.

Dalwhinnie Mesa Chardonnay

Brilliant very pale straw almost water like colour with greenish tinged edges. Aromas of nectarine and pear are intermeshed with hints of lime, green apple and subtle biscuity oak. Rich fleshy peach, ripe nectarine and subtle dried honey flavours are delivered with good intensity over a back drop of cashew and light spicy nougat elements. There’s a nicely balanced freshness to the finish which concludes long and amply fruited with a cream tinged texture. Drink over the next 3-4 years. Alc. 12.5%

Dalwhinnie Moonambel Shiraz

Langton's Classification: Excellent

Made from low yielding vineyards at Moonambel in the Pyreness district of central Victoria, Dalwhinnie is an example of how good Victorian Shiraz can be. Tremendous depth of flavour running the gammet from red currants to dark plums, spice and mineral. The plentiful tannins are absorbed by the fruit and the finish is long and lingering.

Dalwhinnie Moonambel Cabernet Sauvignon

Dalwhinnie are a boutique and cult winery in the western Victorian region of the Pyrenees. Known for full-boided reds with wonderful aromatic eucalypt lift, this Cabernet Sauvignon is a brilliant example of the Dalwhinnie style.

Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition Double Matured Single Malt Scotch Whisky ( Bottling)

This bottle of Dalwhinnie is apart of Diageo's 2021 Distillers Edition. The idea behind The Distillers Edition is to provide an alternative expression of each whisky; to add richness, complexity and interest in the form of a different ‘take’ on that whisky’s attributes. There are seven distinctive Distillers Edition expressions (including Lagavulin, Oban, Talisker, Caol Ila, Dalwhinnie, and more), the remarkable and complex Distillers Edition process, and the people who make it. An incentive to explore The Distillers Edition itself. Distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2011, this Dalwhinnie double-matured in ex-bodega Oloroso cask wood for a rich sweetness and spicy complexity to enhance the heathery, honeyed aromas and tastes of the regular release.

Dalwhinnie Moonambel Chardonnay

The 2008 marks the 25th anniversary of Dalwhinnie Chardonnay in the Pyrenees in western Victoria, and the wine is still not missing a beat. With less oak used now than in previous vintages, the wine exhibits magnificent citrus and mineral flavours and aromas with a delicate honey flavour notes and texture. A truly elegant wine.

Dalwhinnie The Eagle Shiraz

Dalwhinnie The Pinnacle Shiraz

Delightful fragrant potpourri driven floral aromatics complement the deep dark cherry fruit intensity of this single vineyard wine. The palate is perfectly balanced with concentrated primary fruits, and the use of sweetly spiced French oak adds integrated mature tannin and further layering of flavours. Persistent lingering flavours ensure that this wine will be long remembered.

Dalwhinnie Eagle Shiraz

Langton's Classification: Excellent

David and Jenny Jones are making wine with tremendous depth of fruit flavour, reflecting the relatively low-yielding but very well- maintained vineyards in The Pyrenees. Their flagship Dalwhinnie Eagle Shiraz is a perfect example of this. Pristine and fresh with more of everything providing plenty of stuffing, redcurrant, blackberry and sage characters.
