The very first Gruner Veltliner from the Eden Valley, growing blissfully alongside their natural soulmate, Riesling (and showing some similar characters). Rich golden yellow in colour with an intriguing floral nose of blossom and stone fruit. The palate is rich and broad offering nectarine and white peach with back notes of citrus and grapefruit. A beautifully textural wine yet a pure, clean, mineral finish.

The Eden Hall Cabernet Sauvignon from the Eden Valley is a wonderfully striking Cabernet with swathes of lifted violets, ripe plums and blackcurrant all supported by a quality oak regime that has integrated brilliantly. While youthful the wine is plump and juicy, it will age very nicely and improve with some careful cellaring over the next decade.

Though part of the Barossa, the Eden Valley is a slightly cooler climate than the neighbouring Barossa Valley, so generally produce Shiraz that is slightly more elegant in style. That said, the Eden Hall Shiraz is a wine that is not only rich, vibrant and full of life today, it will also hang in for the long haul.

Eden Hall Reserve Riesling made from fruit from select rows in block 8 with a south western aspect. It is pale straw yellow showing a lifted, perfumed floral nose with hints of lavender. Steely minerality on the palate with more lemon than lime. A tight, single minded classic Eden Valley Rizza of impecable pedigree smugly basking in its understated nobility.

Deep crimson red with a perfumed nose of dark fruits, spice and white pepper. The palate fills with ripe black fruits, blueberries, plums and finishes with silky smooth tannins.

This wine is the culmination of a long term project that started 20 years ago when we planted a small block of Cabernet Franc on a bony ridge in the highest part of the vineyard. The fruit was destemmed into an open fermenter and spent 9 months in six second-hand French hogsheads to allow full fruit expression. The wine is bright crimson with a delicate perfumed nose and a hint of pepper and spice. There is a broad palate of black fruits – satsuma plum, dark cherry and mulberry with a lingering finish.

Only our second Chardonnay from a carefully fostered single block of Eden Valley fruit of impeccable pedigree. Bright golden yellow, with white peach, apple Danish and cinnamon on the nose that follows through on the palate. A full-bodied wine with a silky creamy texture and an elegant lingering finish. The 2020 Springton Riesling was carefully blended from 3 different blocks within the Avon Brae vineyard. (56% Block 11, 26% Block 10, 19% Block 8) It is bright pale straw and shows tropical fruits and rose petal on the nose. The palate is broad and full with lime over a long line of lemon. An enticing Eden Valley Riesling drinking well now but built to last.
