Crafted by their whisky creators from field to glass, the third batch of this single estate whisky is described as deep and creamy, featuring notes of sweet spice and nuts. Selected from two Cadboll harvests, this batch blends classic bourbon-matured Glenmorangie, known for its richness and creaminess, with a portion of Cadboll barley stock that has been finished in Amontillado casks for approximately a year. This finishing process introduces nutty, spicy, and sweet flavors, resulting in a beautifully integrated Glenmorangie 15 YO. A gently spicy mouthfeel leads into a burst of sweet and spicy flavours, including heather honey, gingerbread, hazelnut praline, fudge, toffee and a touch of clove. Nuttiness from the Amontillado cask is always present, while a lingering aftertaste has touches of marzipan, coconut and freshly baked fruit loaf.
