An intensely dark and opulent wine. This wine expresses the abundant raspberry, black cherry and dark chocolate characters of Barossa Shiraz. A sumptuous palate of rich flavours and a sweetness harmoniously balanced with fine tannin, natural acidity and lively effervescence.

The third release of Nebu. Rich dark purple, almost ink, with a bright and deep purple hue. There is no holding back on the palate, with rich and powerful fruit. Lots of dark red fruits dominating the middle palate, with notes of chocolate layered in the background. Brilliantly balanced with warm spice and sweet vanilla, that are influenced by the oak usage and a firm tannin structure.

Classic Cabernet through and through — think rich cassis, hints of mint chocolate and a touch of tobacco leaf. This Barossa Valley beauty shows depth and concentration, yet remains silky and inviting. Dark fruits flood the palate, finishing with a smooth smoky cedar note. Grant Burge Nebu 2024 is garnet in colour with purple hues. Aromas of violets, milk chocolate, tar and thyme come from the Cabernet followed by ground spice notes, blackberry characters from the Shiraz. Subtle oak inclusion derives vanilla and cedar notes. Flowing through to the palate, the cool climate Cabernet characters of cool mint, leaf, ground turmeric and cassis show through. The warm climate Shiraz elements provide the chocolaty plum and black currant fruit. Together they provide a sweet and savoury entry with soy and hazelnut overlayed with blackcurrant, chocolate and dried spice. The fruit and spice flavours persist over a long tight bed of tannins that drive long and directionally culminating in a velvety texture and super long finish.
