The Ambassador Story Haselgrove’s very own estate selected Shiraz has been very proudly named after our Ambassador, Les Burdett OAM. All individually numbered, with proceeds from the sale of the 3,030 bottles donated to Les Burdett’s charity of choice – Variety, the Children’s Charity. Tasting Notes Aroma The nose is rich and opulent with complex blackberry and liquorice aromas. A hint of sweet nutty spice complements the fresh fruit. Palate A bright black fruit palate with supporting French oak and layers of sweet spice and chocolate. Complex and alluring tannins give structure and elegance with bright natural acidity providing a mouth-watering and moreish finish.

AROMA Concentrated dark berries and red fruits with hints of dark chocolate and cedary spice. PALATE Youthful and intense, this wine displays generous ripe plum and red berry fruits with subtle spice and chocolate. These vibrant fruit characters are complimented with soft and juicy tannins and a long dry finish.

Tasting Notes Aroma The nose is a true reflection of the three varieties in this blend. Powerful aromas of summer berries, black cherry and inviting Christmas cake spice. Palate The palate demonstrates all of the hallmarks of this world famous blend. Our 2020 Switch GSM is bursting with luscious red berry flavours that are enhanced by assertive, youthful tannins.

A bright and deeply coloured Grenache, our Vine Sean is a serious wine, with rustic aromas of woody herbs, mint, blackberry and hints of kirsch. The palate is deeply flavoured, yet medium bodied and fresh, with a defining acid line and fine tannin structure.

Tasting Notes Aroma Lifted varietal aromas of red currant, summer berries and cranberry combine with bright violet perfume and subtle spice. Palate The palate is medium to full bodied with bright fruits, red plum, blackcurrant and cherry balanced with oak spice and a hint of dried herbs. Lengthy tannins and a fine acid line give structure and length to the palate yielding a wine that can be enjoyed in its youth but will also develop beautifully with time.

Tasting Notes Aroma Brilliant pale salmon in colour. Lifted bright fresh fruit notes, summer berries, aromatic rose blossom and delicate hints of blood orange. Palate The palate demonstrates all of the hallmarks of what one of McLaren Vales champion varieties can do as a Rose. Strawberries and cream, Turkish delight and bright red berries balance with a bone dry, crisp, moreish acidity and a textural citrus pith finish. We challenge you to stop at only one glass!

TASTING NOTES AROMA White peaches and tropical fruit flavours, with hints of lemon curd and toasted wafer. PALATE Creaminess on the palate with a fresh fruit finish, integrated with tropical notes of mango, pineapple, and zesty acid. The bead is fine and persistent. Carefully blended parcels of Chardonnay combine to produce a Blanc de Blanc with rich fruit, soft full flavours and complex characters. Enjoy Chilled. Great as an aperitif and enjoyed with friends.

Palate Concentrated and generous with dark fruits and black cherry, the old vines contribute complex spices, cinnamon and nutmeg. A full bodied, luscious and elegant wine that is perfectly balanced by fine grain tannins and lingering structural finish.
