The Old Nut Made from a secret blend of McLaren Vale fruit since 1981, each year only 1,000 bottles are bottled from the historic master blend, making this a rare and treasured gift, to be appreciated over time. Tasting Notes Aroma: Fresh lifted nose of spicy fruitcake, raisons, and dark fruits. Integrated vanillin oak and mocha with a hint of rancio from long term oak maturation. Palate: Round and voluptuous with intense spice notes balanced with a nutty and creamy palate. Integrated spirit is balanced with fruit intensity and a refreshing acidity runs through the length of the palate. Subtle mocha and vanilla notes intensify on the finish and match the nutty characters of the wine giving great length and power.

Tasting Notes Aroma Dense, classic Shiraz characters of fresh blackberry, boysenberry and aniseed mesh seamlessly with dried spice and elegant French oak. Palate Concentrated and generous with dark fruits and black cherry, the old vines contribute complex spices, cinnamon and nutmeg. A full bodied, luscious and elegant wine that is perfectly balanced by fine grain tannins and lingering structural finish.

All individually numbered, with proceeds from the sale of the 3,030 bottles donated to Les Burdett’s charity of choice – Variety, the Children’s Charity. Tasting Notes Aroma The nose is rich and opulent with complex blackberry and liquorice aromas. A hint of sweet nutty spice complements the fresh fruit. Palate A bright black fruit palate with supporting French oak and layers of sweet spice and chocolate. Complex and alluring tannins give structure and elegance with bright natural acidity providing a mouth-watering and moreish finish.

Tasting Notes Aroma The bright and lifted nose shows pithy lemon & lime with orange blossom, melon and complex aromas of toasted almond and gun flint Palate Juicy melon and crunchy lemon zest with hints of brown lime and creamed citrus fruit palate. Fine natural acidity gives great length and balances the textural oak characters.

It Is Low Alcohol With Fruity And Floral Notes And Obvious But Balanced Sweetness. Aroma The First Impression Is One Of Summer, Fresh Stone Fruit Blossom Leap Out Of The Glass, Followed By Bright Lemon And Lime Citrus Notes And Finishing With Juicy White Peach. Palate Even Though Moscato Carries A Much Higher Sugar Than Usual This Wine Is Refreshing And Crisp. The Grape Juice Sweetness Is Balanced By A Fine Minerality And Tight Natural Acidity.
