An early ripening grape perfectly suited to the warm climate of the lower Hunter Valley. The small berries retain their acidity and produce fragrant white wines with intense flavour. The vintage produced a beautifully aromatic wine with tropical fruit and refreshing natural acidity. Hungerford Hill is one of the Hunter Valley's great success stories. From our humble beginnings in the 1960s, we've grown over the past 50-odd years to incorporate the award-winning Sweetwater vineyard as well as the famous Dalwood vineyard, which is considered the birthplace of Australian wine and the country's oldest continually operating vineyard.

Made in the classic Hunter Valley style, Hungerford Hill Semillon offers aromas of herbal, citrus and lemon. Wonderful line of acid and complexity running through the entire length of this wine.

The Fish Cage Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is from the bank of the Hunter River. A blend of two classic varietals; where the Semillon brings aroma of lemon curd, lime leaf and a textured lanolin palate; the Sauvignon Blanc adds exotic tropical fruit with juicy acidity. The Fish Cage Pinot Noir Shiraz is a blend of Tumbarumba Pinot Noir and Hunter Valley Shiraz. Pinot noir from the cool climate of Tumbarumba is fragrant with red cherries and spice, blended with the ripe blackberry and plum fruit of the Hunter Valley Shiraz. The resultant wine is a seamless blend of the two varieties which has both character and elegance.
