The story of Riesling in Australia is as old as the wine industry itself. The famed Florita Vineyard is synonymous with the classic grape variety and was established by Leo Buring in 1962. In 1986 the Barry family acquired the 80 acre property and began to write the next chapter in the famous vineyard's history. Opens with powerful floral aromas of rose water, citrus blossom, pear and lime. A wine with an eye to the future. Tightly wound within clean, straight acidity. Exhibits pure lime fruit with a long citrusy finish.

Jim Barry is a master of Riesling and this 2014 vintage won't disappoint. It opens with aromas of lifted spice, orange blossom and lime. This offers a huge volume of flavour of grapefruit, lime and spice, with a palate that exhibits great line and drive. There is a creaminess to the palate balanced by the crisp acidity on the finish.

Ripe plums, spice, compote, and fresh ripe blackberries on the nose. A lively, strikingly astute entry on the palate, with flavours of fresh, ripe berries enhanced by hints of spice and clove. The flow is calm and even with effortless tannins.

Deep crimson. Classical blackberry, praline, ginger, sage aromas with mocha oak notes. Luxurious blackberry pastille, blackcurrant, black cherry fruits, superb fine chocolatey/velvet tannins and beautifully balanced mocha/vanilla/smoky oak notes. Finishes velvety/gravelly firm with raspberry, graphite/bush garrigue notes. A hugely impressive long-lasting Clare Valley Shiraz with lovely fruit definition, density and vigour.

Tom Barry is a third-generation master winemaker, and this Gold winning Clare Valley riesling is only further proof of his expertise. Serve as a refreshing aperitif before seafood. Aromas of white nectarine flesh, fresh lime and fragrant orange blossom combine with crushed wet limestone. The palate is well weighted on entry, with full drive and purpose throughout. It’s no surprise this style won Gold. The Barry Family are legends in the Clare Valley, and have used their rich soils and expert skills to produce this truly stunning 100% malbec. Aromas of violets, redcurrants, maraschino cherries and lavender flood the nose. The flavours are plentiful with blueberries, liquorice, violets, dark chocolate and black tea. The wine is full of energy and juicy fruit supported by fine gravelly tannins and fresh cranberry juice acidity. This 100% Malbec shows the potential of the variety to stand on its own and produce a delicious wine with vibrancy and elegance. The first vineyard that my grandfather, Jim Barry, planted in 1964 at our Armagh property was Malbec (900 vines). Since that time, Malbec has played an important part in our winemaking journey and is predominantly blended with Cabernet Sauvignon.
