Katnook Odyssey is one of the superstars of the Coonawarra galaxy, produced only from the finest fruit and in the top years. The best oak is lavished on Odyssey, and is absorbed by the rich, dense fruit with ease. 5 years+ in our programme and the oak integration is complete, the tannins softened and the texture silken. A special occassion wine at the best of times, the 2013 vintage is still improving and should retain its best attributes for another ten years.

Katnook lies in the heart of South Australia's iconic Coonawarra region and is home to some of the country's finest terra rossa vineyards. This wine features a well-structured palate, with rich berry fruit, light oak flavours and a smooth finish.

The Founder's Block shiraz features aromas of vibrant dark and red-berry fruit, hints of violet and cinnamon spice notes. Lots of soft tannins, some vanillin oak making for a harmonious and balanced wine for the price.

Coonawarra blockbuster, the Katnook Prodigy Shiraz is a wonderful example of supreme Coonawarra Shiraz. Savoury spice and dark berry fruits with a hint of white pepper. An elegant wine with medium intensity and great length.

This Cabernet expresses the Katnook Terroir with classic notes of rich dark berries and hints of mint and spicy cedar oak.

Attractive aromas of ripe blackcurrant, dark berry and subtle mint integrate with complex maturation characters of toasty, vanillan oak.

An intricately layered palate structure of ripe fruit and oak flavours seamlessly combined by maturation in barrels. Ripe dark berries, hints of dusty mulberry and spicy plums with subtle vanilla, mocha and chocolate oak flavours are richly interwoven. Fine grained, softly assertive tannins complement lingering flavours. Drinking at its peak, a great statement of luxury Australian Cabernet Sauvignon.
