Mars Iwai Tradition Japanese Whisky is soft and rounded, yet full bodied and mellow. The nose gives sweet honey, leading to a complex, peaty full bodied palate which gives sweet peat, orange marmalade, maple, burnt sugar cane, cedar and cigar.

Aged in bourbon, sherry and American White Oak new casks, "Cosmo" blended malt whisky is named after a mountain in the Japan Central Alps close to the Mars Whisky Distillery.

The "Twin Alps" presented on this stunning label blends the "Central Alps" and "Southern Alps" of Kyushu, Japan. The Mars Shinshu distillery is located at Miyada, a highland village in the Nagano Prefecture, some 800m above sea level and making it Japan's highest whisky distillery. Utilising pure alpine water that flows to the Otagiri River, this whisky is distilled only during Japan's crisp winters.Mars has produced an outstanding whisky aged in bourbon barrels with lasting notes of subtle spice, oak and fruit flavours making it extremely easy to enjoy - straight, on the rocks or as a highball mix with soda and ice.Nose: Malt, light caramel, biscuit, cinnamon, grain spirits.Palate: Apple, light honey, oak, pepper, grain, vanilla.Finish: Sweet oak, black pepper, light fruit character.

Sweet notes of tropical fruits such as orange, pineapple, banana and hints of vanilla and caramel on the nose. The palate shows beautiful balance between juicy fruitiness and a slight saltiness with rich texture. Fruitiness and elegant malt lead to a long finish. The name tells you this single malt is distilled and matured at Tsunuki, aand this is its 3rd release after Tsunuki The First and Tsunuki Peated. Beautiful pure water is used, and the natural environment with day and night-time temperature change has considerable and unique influence on this whisky. Majority of this single malt was matured in bourbon barrels. It has amber colour. On nose, fresh sweetness such as lemon cake, blacktea and a whiff of smoke at first, and followed by cacao, azuki beans, butter toast and milk candy. Bitter and sweet fruitiness like Orangette on palate, and finish is long and complex with generous sweetness. This whisky is non-chill filtered to keep all good flavours.

Floral and aromatic on the nose, fresh and soft texture with delicate sweetness, and an elegant crisp finish.The key botanicals apart from juniper berries for this gin (green tea, shiso and ginger) are grown locally in Kagoshima Prefecture in South Japan on the island of Kyushu. The original gin is blended with beautiful rose water which is made with organic and local Damask rose flower, which is considered the queen of roses.
