Deep magenta in colour with a bright purple hue. Classic aromas of redcurrant, blackcurrant and blueberry are intertwined with notes of thyme, nutmeg and cedar. Strong varietal focussed tannins are interwoven with fleshy blueberry, blackcurrant and integrated oak flavours on the palate. A wine of understated power, elegance and balance.

Medium purple in colour, the 2017 Mitchelton Shiraz displays intense aromas of fresh mulberries, black fruits and lifted pepper spice. Ripe blackberry, dark cherry and black plum flavours fill a bright and intense medium bodied palate. A blanket of fine and ripe tannins support the long finish and ensure that the wine will continue to improve with further maturation.

Mitchelton Gabriella Possum Yarra Valley Chardonnay

The wine is pale straw in colour with a green tinge looking youthful and fresh, this wine shows classic Yarra Valley regional and varietal aromas of white peach, with subtle elegant French oak interweaved with subtle complex yeast notes. The palate is a sophisticated medium body Chardonnay being a true reflection of the cooler 2020 vintage. There is a fresh but delicate clean acid line, integrated with savour secondary winemaking attributes of oak and yeast autolysis. The wine has a clean extended finish.

Pale straw in colour with green hues. Complex and enticing aromas of preserved citrus, white fleshed stone fruit, spice, fresh picked nuts and oak all leap from the glass. The palate has a depth and volume of fruit that builds in intensity as it travels across the mid-palate. The fine acid and textural elements of the barrel fermentation interweave with the fruit to balance and complete the wine.

Pale straw in colour with a slight golden tinge. An enticing nose of yellow nectarine, guava, jasmine and pineapple rind are on show with subtle background aromatic oak influence. With time in the glass, the wine opens up to reveal fleshy flavours of yellow nectarine, guava and rambutan wrapped around a bright acid backbone. Concentrated and complex, the persistent finish leaves lingering notes of fresh orchard fruit and balanced savoury oak.

Mitchelton Gabriella Possum Ancestral Method Riesling

This wine has been fermented in this bottle and is therefore turbid in nature as it includes the yeast lees. The wine should be gently mixed prior to serving cold to homogenise these lees through the bottle. Complex aromas of tropical fruits, and the savoury brioche notes of yeast autolysis. The wine is very light in body, a fine mousse, and complex champagne like savoury flavours on the finish. This preservative free wine should be enjoyed youthful and fresh.

Lovely Salmon pink in colour, with layered aromas of blueberry, strawberry, and cream. Vibrant and appealing fresh soft red berry fruits. The red berry notes develop intensity on the palate, with the wine being a lovely medium bodied rose. The structure is soft with a lovely fruit sweetness on an extended clean and crisp finish.

The wine is a vibrant youthful medium depth cherry red colour. The wine has restrained savory notes of mushroom and earth, subtle strawberry and spice form oak.
